EIA (the Law on the Environmental Impact Assessment) is the Latvian version of Danish VVM law (Vurdering af Virkninger på miljøet), which, the same as in Denmark, stipulates a serious procedure for enterprises, in order to assess the possible impact to environment. Therefore, in order the potential project would be implemented, the first precondition is a professional management of EIA procedure.

In Latvia there are only few such professional companies, which are capable of planning and providing such a permit or – in other words – successful result for EIA procedure.
